Every year I’ve sung a holiday song close to my heart for the holidays. One year it was on stage at The National for a Christmas Eve service. One year it was with my dad for senior citizens in a nursing home. This year it’s at my cozy home that I’m thankful and blessed to enjoy with my children. I changed the words to Hallelujah, a song I love because it was fitting for our journey this year through 2020.

Sometimes all we can do is sing Hallelujah because we are still here, still breathing and we are going to get through it together ❤️

Being a motivational speaker for domestic violence and mental health awareness has been my platform since 2009. I have donated my time and gifts for the last three years to help promote the Richmond-based nonprofit Runway2life. It has been an honor to be their official spokeswoman and serve on their board of directors as I finished my term serving with them in October 2020.
