Fashion & Philanthropy: A Perfect Combination

Fashion teamed up with generosity as Ashley Jefferson, owner of Very Ashley [Stony Point Fashion Park], debuted her inaugural “Fashion & Philanthropy Brunch" event at the new BRUN Restaurant on Lombardy Street. Sponsored by Andre Young Interiors [Stony Point Fashion Park], the event merged together fashion, food and music to benefit the Metropolitan Business League Foundation’s Youth Entrepreneurship Program. 

Hosted by Stephanie Glenn, Vice President of Diversity and Engagement for the Community Foundation, the brunch featured musical guest Lumineek, who sang a selection of original songs, and two fashion shows highlighting the latest offerings available at Very Ashley.

The actual fashion event showcased models of all shapes, sizes and ages who walked the runway in the latest Summer trends. Very Ashley staff members circled the room in opulent, sparkling gowns that were available to one lucky raffle winner. 

Another tremendous star of the show was the decadently delicious food provided by Chef Gyapong. Menu options included salmon & grits, french toast breakfast platter and other reimagined traditional brunch offerings. 

It was truly an afternoon of glamour.
